Maurice and Amy Kelsey along with their children own and operate Monanfran Farms, a family farm that was established in 1919 and is a fourth generation dairy farm.  Monanfran Farms is a 380 head herd that is fed homegrown grass forages throughout the year and pastured when the growing season permits.  The Kelseys are also active merchandizers of Registered Holstein cattle originating back to the original Kriemheld herd in Peterboro, NY. In 2010, the Kelsey family become one of four Madison County farms to create Kriemhild Dairy Farms, LLC. Kriemhild currently markets their grass-based, handpacked Meadow Butter in small batches and sells this artisanal product throughout the region.
